The rules that apply to competitions and giveaways run by Market Hive SA.

General
Competitions and giveaways conducted by Market Hive SA are intended to promote community engagement and support local businesses.
Eligibility
Unless otherwise stated:
- participants must reside in South Africa
- participants must meet any age requirements specified
- employees and immediate family members of Market Hive SA may be excluded.
Entry Requirements
Entry requirements will be stated on each competition announcement. Failure to comply may result in disqualification.
Winner Selection
Winners may be selected through random draw, judging panel, community voting, or other clearly stated methods. The decision of Market Hive SA shall be final.
Prize Conditions
Prizes:
- are non-transferable
- may not be exchanged for cash unless specifically stated
- are subject to availability.
Publicity
By entering, participants grant permission for name publication, social media announcements, winner photographs, and promotional use related to the competition. Participants may request anonymity where legally permitted.
Supplier and Sponsor Prizes
Market Hive SA is not responsible for prize defects, delivery delays, supplier failures, or sponsor-related issues. Such matters remain the responsibility of the prize provider.
Disqualification
Market Hive SA reserves the right to disqualify entrants who submit false information, attempt to manipulate results, or violate community standards.
Amendments
Market Hive SA may amend, suspend, or cancel competitions where necessary due to circumstances beyond its control.
Compliance
Competitions shall be conducted in accordance with applicable South African consumer protection and promotional competition legislation.
Policy Amendments and Continued Participation
Market Hive SA reserves the right to amend, update, modify, replace or discontinue this policy at any time, where permitted by applicable law. Any amendments become effective upon publication on the Market Hive SA website or upon notification to users through any reasonable communication channel.
It is the responsibility of users, members, subscribers, vendors, suppliers, service providers, venues, markets, partners and patrons to review the applicable policies periodically. Continued use of the Market Hive SA website, services, directory listings, subscriptions, applications, accounts or participation in the Market Hive SA community following the publication of any amendment constitutes acceptance of such changes and agreement to be bound by the updated terms. If you do not agree to any amendment, you must discontinue use of the relevant services and may request cancellation of your account or subscription in accordance with the applicable cancellation policies.
